During Fall 2016, a group of Carleton students will be studying in Prague under the leadership of Professor Ken Abrams, as well as with the aid of CET Academic Programs. One of the main focuses of the program is to learn about how mental health is understood and cared for in the Czech Republic, which can then be compared with our views and methodologies in the United States, thus allowing for a deeper understanding of mental health as a whole. Additionally, the program offers students a chance to learn some introductory Czech, study the art and architecture of the city, and become more knowledgeable about the history of the Prague. For more information on the Carleton Cross-Cultural Psychology program, specifically the goals, a great description of may be found here.
